Christine and Sabrina Joyce as entrepreneurs, patrons of the Arts in Ireland, Great grand nieces of James Joyce and proud Irish women will be hoisting their tribes flag with the launch of their own website irishgathering2013.com.
Their website idea was conceived after they received numerous emails from Joyceans all around the globe, asking about Joyce related events happening in 2013. Some scholars asked if they would also be free for a casual discussion of Joyce’s works over a pint of the black stuff. Being involved with Joyce related events along with their Uncle Robert Joyce, who resides on the board of management for the James Joyce Cultural Centre on Dublin’s northside, they began to collect and catalogue all events, both on the radar and off, regarding literature, music, art and facilities for ancestral tracing of your tribe, with a view to meeting up with your distant relations upon arrival in Ireland.
With the cataloguing of all this information, irishgathering2013.com was launched by them on St. Patricks Day 2012. Christine and Sabrina will be working with a wide network of artists, musicians, writers, actors and Arts related contacts to help all visitors maximize the time they will spend visiting Ireland. Irishgathering2013.com will be at the forefront in delivering the latest news in all areas of the arts and in connecting you with your tribe, before your feet even rest on home turf.
